Hins Cheung yesterday released his new album ‘My First Collection’ and was also interviewed by a radio station. Regarding receiving his first Hong Kong male singer award at Metro Showbiz on Wednesday, Hins said, “To tell you the truth, Metro likes to applaud the hard work of all singers. But this male singer means a lot to me. After getting the award I was so happy that when I returned home, I opened a bottle of wine to celebrate.” About the rumour of the award’s level being lowered for him to join Leo Ku and Justin Lo in receiving the same honour, Hins commented, “Can it not be said that Justin and I have improved?”

On the other hand, during the after party, Hins had announced that he has to book tables because he had earlier promised to take his colleagues and the media for dinner if he wins 5 awards. Hins declared, “Two more and then I’ll have enough awards. I will have to book at least six tables.”
